Overview

PolyClinic is a purpose built multi-disciplinary outpatient department designed to meet the needs of the outpatient in one building. The Polyclinic opened on May 6th 2000.

Incorporated in the polyclinic is a fully functional Radiology Department, a state of the art Laboratory, Medical Records Department and Administration.

The clinics are divided into the following areas:

1. Internal medicine which includes:

  • Chest
  • Infectious Diseases
  • Endocrine
  • Diabetology
  • General
  • MedicineGastroenterology
  • Nephrology
  • Hypertension
  • Neurology
  • Rheumatology
  • patient education.

2. Surgery which includes:3.  Ophthalmology.

  • General Surgery
  • Vascular Surgery
  • Thoracic Surgery
  • Plastic Surgery
  • Neuro Surgery

3.  ENT and Audiology.

4.  Orthopaedics, Cardiology and E.C.G.

5.  Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

6.  Paediatrics – Medicine and Surgery.

7. Pain Clinic new

8.  Dermatology and Allergy.

9.  Employee health and Psychiatry.

10. Pre-admission and pain.

The clinics of  Urology, Oncology and Haematology will remain in the main hospital building.

To meet the ongoing educational needs of the staff and to ensure that staff are kept up to date, the second floor houses a fully equipped medical library, staff Inservice Education Department, Conference Rooms and Audiovisual Department.
